Why can't ChatGPT see my website?

What does this check look at?

Whether the page renders without JavaScript, whether AI crawlers are allowed in robots.txt, whether structured data is present, whether the page opens with a direct answer, title and description quality, indexability and canonical tags, freshness signals, and HTTPS and mobile basics.

Should I block AI crawlers?

Search and training permissions serve different purposes. OAI-SearchBot supports ChatGPT search, while GPTBot controls potential training use. You can allow search access while blocking training. The check reports robots.txt signals; access alone does not guarantee indexing or citations.

Is this the same as SEO?

The foundations overlap: accessible pages, useful answers, accurate metadata and reliable evidence. Google says its existing SEO practices apply to AI Overviews and AI Mode. This score is a diagnostic checklist, not a search ranking or a prediction of AI recommendations.
