Is your site turning traffic into leads?
Enter your address and we run twenty checks: whether a visitor can actually request a quote, whether ChatGPT and Perplexity can read your pages at all, and whether anything records what happens to a lead after it arrives. You get a score per area and the biggest problem named immediately.
Twenty checks, about fifteen seconds. No account, and we do not change anything on your site.
What it checks
Twenty checks, three questions.
Lead capture
Whether a visitor can become a lead without picking up the phone.
- Can someone request a quote online, or is every call to action a phone number
- Self-serve booking, click-to-call, and how long the form is
- Service areas, opening hours and an FAQ, the three most commonly missing
- Whether you promise a response time, and whether there is any social proof
AI visibility
Whether ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude can read and cite you.
- Does the page render without JavaScript, which those crawlers do not run
- Are the AI search crawlers allowed in robots.txt, and are the right ones blocked
- Structured data, title and description, canonical and indexability
- Whether the page opens with an answer or a slogan
Follow-up
Whether anything happens to a lead once it exists.
- Where the enquiry form actually posts, and whether it just opens an email client
- Whether any analytics or CRM is recording which marketing produced which job
Why most sites leak
The gaps are almost always the same three.
Across home-service businesses, 43% do not clearly list their service areas, 65% show no opening hours and 74% have no FAQ. None of those are hard to fix, and all of them cost enquiries on traffic you already paid for.

The one that costs the most
A phone number works for people already planning to call. Everyone still deciding, which is most of the traffic any advert sends, leaves without a trace. If the only way to reach you is to dial, you are paying for visits you cannot follow up.
That is the first thing the check looks for, and it is the most common failure we see.
Questions
Straight answers.
Why is my contractor website not getting leads?
+
Most often because there is no way to become a lead without phoning. A phone number converts people who already decided to call; everyone still comparing options leaves without a trace. After that the usual causes are a missing service-area list, no opening hours and no FAQ, which between them affect the large majority of home-service sites.
How do I know if ChatGPT can see my website?
+
Load your site with JavaScript disabled. If the page goes blank, AI crawlers see nothing, because GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot fetch raw HTML and do not run JavaScript. Gemini is the exception since it runs on Googlebot infrastructure, which is why a site can appear in Google AI Overviews while being invisible in ChatGPT. This check tests exactly that.
Is the website check really free?
+
Yes. You get three scores and your biggest problem straight away with no account. The remaining checks need an email address, and that gets you one report rather than a sequence.
Does the check change anything on my site?
+
No. It only reads your public pages and your robots.txt, exactly as a search engine would. Nothing is submitted, nothing is modified, and no login is ever required.
Which AI crawlers should I allow?
+
The permissions split by job and most sites block the wrong ones. GPTBot is training. OAI-SearchBot indexes for ChatGPT search, so blocking it removes you from those answers, and Claude-SearchBot is the equivalent for Claude. Blocking training crawlers while allowing search crawlers is a coherent position. Blocking the search crawlers is almost never what people intend.
What is a good score?
+
Anything above 75 in a category is working. Between 45 and 75 there are real gaps costing you enquiries. Below 45 the problem is structural rather than cosmetic. Most contractor sites we scan score well on the basics and badly on lead capture and AI visibility.
