Jobber Payments fees in 2026: what you actually pay

The short answer
Jobber Payments charges 2.9% + 30 cents for online card payments, 2.7% + 30 cents for Tap to Pay in the Jobber app, and 1% for US bank (ACH) payments, the same on every plan. Instant payouts cost an extra 1%. Jobber's software starts at $29 a month billed annually for the Core plan, or $49 month to month.

Jobber Payments fee traps to check
- ACH is 1% with no published cap, so a $15,000 job paid by bank transfer costs $150 in fees.
- Instant payouts add another 1% on top of the processing fee.
- Tap to Pay carries a 30 cent fixed fee, double Square's 15 cents, which matters on small tickets.
- Card rates are identical on every plan, so upgrading to Grow or Plus does not lower processing costs.
- On the 1-year commitment, cancelling mid-year does not stop billing; you pay monthly until the 12 months end.
How to lower your Jobber Payments fees
- Put a capped ACH option (Stripe at $5, Helcim at $6) on your largest invoices; on $600,000 of bank-paid jobs, 1% uncapped is $6,000 a year.
- Leave payouts on the standard schedule unless you need cash that day, to avoid the extra 1%.
- If you are sure you will stay a year, annual billing cuts Core from $49 to $29 a month and Grow from $199 to $149.
- Collect deposits by card where speed matters and finals by bank payment where the fee is lower than the card rate.
Can you pass the fee to customers?
Unclear. Jobber's pricing page lists card, Tap to Pay, ACH and instant payout fees but no surcharge or convenience-fee feature.
Contract and cancellation
No-commitment monthly plans cancel at the end of the billing period. The 1-year commitment is a 12-month minimum billed monthly, and annual plans are prepaid and non-refundable. All subscriptions auto-renew.
