ServiceTitan Payments fees in 2026: what you actually pay

The short answer
ServiceTitan does not publish its payment processing rates. Its payments FAQ says it offers custom pricing and that fees depend on payment method, transaction type and your agreement, and its software is priced per technician on request. Online invoice payments are charged the unqualified, keyed-in card rate, and ServiceTitan has no feature to add a card fee to invoices.

ServiceTitan Payments fee traps to check
- Rates are custom and unpublished; ServiceTitan's payments page tells you to email fintechsales@servicetitan.com for details, and its help center says to contact paymentsetup@servicetitan.com.
- Online Payments links use the unqualified, keyed-in card rate, typically your most expensive card rate.
- Check and ACH processor ProfitStars assesses month-end fees, and a separate fee can apply if a debit block on your bank account stops it collecting them.
- Membership Renewal Protection, which updates saved cards, carries additional fees that are not published.
- Merchant transaction limits (per check, daily or monthly volume) can decline a large ACH or check payment unless you ask to raise them ahead of a big job.
- In Canada, Tap to Pay and Pay by Bank are not available; only card readers, keyed transactions and Online Payments are.
How to lower your ServiceTitan Payments fees
- Ask for your full rate schedule in writing (card-present, keyed, online, ACH, check and every monthly fee), then compare it with a published interchange-plus provider on the same statement.
- Take cards with Tap to Pay or a reader in the field; ServiceTitan itself says Tap to Pay saves on processing fees compared with manual entry, which is also the rate online links use.
- Offer Pay by Bank or ACH on large invoices, and raise your transaction limits before a high-ticket job so the payment is not declined.
- Use the Code of Conduct: your processor must give 30 to 60 days' notice of fee increases or of interchange cuts it will not pass on, and you can exit without penalty within 70 calendar days after the change takes effect.
Can you pass the fee to customers?
Not supported. ServiceTitan's payments FAQ says ServiceTitan does not charge for credit card transactions "and there is no feature to enable this"; any card fee on an invoice comes from your gateway or processor.
